John Wycliffe-W
During the 14th century when the world was held captive by unfathomable confusion and darkness without knowing the Truth, John Wycliffe opposed publishing of a papal indulgence and declared that the authority of the Bible is above that of the Pope, and was executed for this belief. He became the light of the Reformation by translating the Latin bible that could only be read and understood by the privileged into English.
Our seminary, with Wycliffe’s spirit of reformation in mind, seeks to:
1. fulfill the mission of becoming the light in this world that is filled with darkness
2. educate and nurture leaders with both intelligence and spirituality.
