SPRING SESSION 2016 ACADEMIC REPORT.
We had two classes ;
- A Class
- M Class
Courses covered were;
- Biblical Communication Skills- Pastor Kayongo B. Stephen
- Church History-Dr.Ngume
- Hermaneutics-Dr.Ngume
Total number of students attended.
- A Class- 31 Students
- M Class-9 Students
In total they were 40 students.
Among the 40 students 36 students managed to do final their exams, Some of them fell sick during the session, Mauryn, Alexandria, but some just had family problems such as Grace Batangi, Jeramogi and a few others. But those who fell were advised to do the exams and they are also soon finishing theirs.
Over 15 students did not turn up for this session because in Uganda we had just finished the national elections and the school term was extended to the very week our session started, so some of our students found it had to take their children to school while at the same time also coming for the session. But they sent their apologies to me. That’s why we had 40 students this time but in June/July session. They will be more than that.
Foreign students;
We received two foreign students; One from Rwanda in Th. M Class and one student from Tanzania doing B.A in Theology.
Developments;
We got some three students last session and 7 Students from Rwanda are joining Th.M class in June/July session.
We have formulated a Wycliffe Uganda Guild Council of Students to help in the smooth running and day today university operation. It’s a team of 11 Student holding the following positions.
GUILD COUNCIL FOR WYCLIFFE UGANDA
- Guild President-Grace Batangi
- Vice President- Tom Kasirye

The above students were nominated by all the students and after everything. We prayed for them.
We had 10 students who came from far and we managed to hire dormitories for them and we also bought some basins and mattress for the school to help students during their stay at school. But we hope to buy more every session. This money was paid by students.
Students bought booklets for Biblical communication skills, Church History and Hermeneutics.
More University T-shirts were bought by students and they paid for the identity cards in a big numbers.
STUDENTS FEES MANAGEMENT
All exams were printed and assignment by student’s contributions and it was all successful.
Students always bought their lunch at school; We hired cooks who always brought food during lunch time.
We were able to pay the school accountant who always registered them, We paid the cleaners who always cleaned the toilets.
We managed to pay for the Electricity and water bills during the session, we paid for all the required documents and stationary during the session.
We finished the session without any debt. Glory be to God.
Challenges during the last session:
- We did not have enough space to divide the classes but we managed to succeed.
FUTURE PLAN:
- To divide the classes because our students demand for it.
- at least 3 classrooms block at the land in Nsangi in order to have an office and at least two classes, One for B.A and another for Th. M and building these classes can cost around 7000-8000 USD. This can be very good for advertising our school even on radios and Televisions since now our school has become known. Many students are willing to join.
Or Buying a bigger land somewhere and construct the University structures.
In conclussion, We thank Dr.Mok Young Paul for the great work you have done to see that African Pastors may see the light of Jesus Christ through Wycliffe University.
